The project prompt was to create an interface for a clock, so the only requirement is that the interface tells time in some capacity. I wanted to take a less traditional route and be creative. My clock tells time relative to the time the user is currently at. For example, every minute, all the eyes in the interface blink at the same time, notifying users that a minute has passed. I noted down some themes for my interface:
1. Regardless of location, time as a dimension is the same. It might be 3 hours ahead across the country, however, a minute is still 60 seconds no matter where you are on the planet.
2. I used the tabs interface to add commentary about how our data is constantly being tracked, especially as new AI technologies emerge. I wanted the eyes to kind of look at each other and then back at the user to create an awkward unsettling feeling of being watched. The idea is that everyone has an virtual alternate ego being created through data and binary numbers.
